What exactly is a family concierge?
A family concierge is a personal assistant who specializes in supporting seniors and busy families with a wide range of everyday, non-medical needs. We become a trusted partner who handles the logistics, coordination, and follow-through โ and we treat the families we serve like our own.
What kinds of services do you offer?
A broad range โ appointment coordination, errands, advocacy, transportation, document organization, family communication, social coordination, healthcare navigation, and tech help. We're flexible, so if you need something that isn't listed, just ask. See our full
Services page.
Are you medical or nursing care?
No โ Harmony Family Concierge is non-medical. We don't provide medical, nursing, or licensed healthcare services. Instead, we coordinate everything around the care: getting your parent to the doctor, advocating for them, and handling the logistics. If you need hands-on medical help, we'll gladly help you coordinate the right professionals.
Will you give or administer medications?
No. We're happy to pick up prescriptions and help keep medications organized, but we do not administer medication โ that falls outside our non-medical role.
Do you provide hands-on caregiving, cleaning, or cooking?
Our focus is coordination and personal-assistant support โ not hands-on caregiving or housekeeping. That said, we're glad to arrange, book, and oversee trusted providers for those needs so everything is handled under one relationship.
How are you different from a home-care agency?
A home-care agency sends caregivers for hands-on personal or medical care. We're the person who organizes and oversees everything โ appointments, errands, advocacy, transportation, and admin โ and keeps your family informed. Many families use both, and we're happy to coordinate a home-care agency for you.
What does advocacy at appointments mean?
We accompany your loved one to medical and professional appointments, take notes on what's discussed, help them understand the outcomes, follow up on any action items, and share a clear summary with the family afterward.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes โ we arrange reliable transportation (rideshare, senior-friendly services, or non-emergency medical transport) and accompany your loved one door to door. We don't drive clients in our own vehicle, so you're never relying on a personal car.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Tri-Valley โ Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, and Danville โ and the surrounding Bay Area. Not sure if you're in our area? Just ask.
Who usually hires you?
Most often it's the adult children of aging parents โ especially those balancing work, their own families, or living at a distance. We're also engaged directly by seniors themselves, as well as guardians and trustees.
Can you help if my parent lives in an assisted living facility?
Absolutely. Our services work in any living situation โ at home or in independent or assisted living โ giving your family an extra set of eyes and a trusted advocate on the ground.
How do I know I can trust you?
We're bonded and insured, and a licensed, registered business in Pleasanton โ and happy to provide references. Trust is everything in this work, so we lead with honesty, discretion, and clear communication every step of the way.
Will I always work with you, or get handed off to staff?
You work directly with me โ the same trusted person, every time. You'll never be passed off to a rotating cast of strangers.
How much do your services cost?
Every family's needs are a little different, so we keep pricing simple and personal. We offer monthly Essentials and Premium plans, plus fully custom options โ and the best way to find the right fit is a quick, friendly conversation. We'd love to hear from you:

How does billing and payment work?
Billing is straightforward and monthly, and everything is spelled out clearly in your service agreement โ no surprises. We'll review it all with you before anything begins.
Do you offer support for both of my parents?
Yes โ our Couples Care Plan offers discounted, coordinated support for both, since there's natural overlap in managing the two of them. We'll tailor it to your family.
I live out of state โ can you still help?
Absolutely โ that's one of the best reasons to work with us. We become your trusted eyes and hands on the ground, and we keep you updated after every visit so you have peace of mind from afar.
How will my family stay informed?
We share updates after visits and reach out right away if anything needs your attention โ by email or a quick phone call โ so everyone stays in the loop, whether you're nearby or across the country.
How soon can we get started?
It's simple: we start with a free consultation, build your custom plan, and once you're comfortable we sign a short service agreement and begin. We respond within 24 hours and can usually start within a few days.
